Fog Willow Farms

Dave’s Pumpkin Patch

For full-fledged fall activities, Dave’s Pumpkin Patch at Vierra Farms offers several attractions, including tractor rides, pig races, a few haunted mazes, princess shows, and even smaller mazes and play areas for younger children. If you stop by, try their famous apple cider cinnamon donuts— they’re delectable! Their grill also offers smoked tri-tip and pulled pork as well as hamburgers and hot dogs.

Bishop’s Pumpkin Farm

For good ol’ fashioned farm fun, Bishop’s is a great place, especially if you’re up for a tiny road trip turning into a daycation at the farm. With the largest U-Pick pumpkin field in the world, Bishop’s is known for its made-from-scratch Pumpkin Apple Muffin. There’s a Weeland Petting Zoo, hayrides, corn mazes and a carousel.

Keema’s Pumpkin Farm

Another Elk Grove area gem is Keema’s Farm. This is a newer farm, opened since 2007, is family-owned, and offers many of the same fall farm attractions as larger farms in the area such as hayrides, farm animals and corn mazes for the littles.

Rickey Ranch Pumpkin Farm

If you are looking for a great family outing to find the perfect farm-grown pumpkins, with plenty of activities for the kids, this is the place. Rickey Ranch showcases plenty of vintage tractors and offers horse rides as well. Farm animals include pigs, chickens, goats and sheep.
