A few outdoor tasks include cleaning gutters and downspouts, inspecting your roof and chimney for cracks and damage, and washing all windows and doors. A few of our preferred partners can help you inspect your roof, including The Roof Doctors in Roseville and Carlos Galan Roofing in North Highlands

Because this time of the year brings in more rain, and greener grass, you'll want to make sure you keep your lawn in good shape. Service your lawn mower, fertilize your lawn, or hire a good landscaper or gardener to do the job.

For the inside of your home, test smoke and carbon monoxide detectors and make sure your batteries are in working order.

Now is a good time to change the bedding of your bedrooms from winter comforters and duvets to lighter throws. For tips on decorating your home for the spring or to consult with a local designer, contact our preferred partner, Christine Fife, who can help redesign your home for the spring.

Of course this time of the year brings in spring cleaning and organizing. If you are looking for a good way to tidy up and organize your closet spaces, our preferred partner Darria Deatherage from Closet Gallery in El Dorado Hills can help.
